The United Football League kicked off in Arlington, officially, on Saturday, with the home-team Renegades hosting the Birmingham Stallions.

The UFL, of course, is the merger, or marriage, of former spring leagues the United States Football League (USFL) and the XFL.

The Football Beat staff is on hand for this game, en masse, and will have coverage following the contest.

At the end of the first quarter, the Renegades lead the Stallions, 3-0.
