Most of us watch the Super Bowl every year for the game, and the commercials are just a sideshow, a fun distraction.
And then there are some people – we won’t name names – who go get their drinks and snacks during the GAME, and watch the commercials as their actual entertainment.

At any rate, this year, there will be the usual movie trailers, and the local ads everyone is used to seeing. But in addition to that, here are a few that might be worth looking for – and at a whopping $7 MILLION for a 30-second spot, they better darn well be.
- Former Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino and actress Scarlett Johansson will play on their near-misses to advertise M&Ms, an ad that will also have former Buffalo Bills defensive end Bruce Smith and former wide receiver Terrell Owens, who was great for multiple teams. The concept: all were almost champions – and Johansson missing out at the Oscars.
- “Friends” stars Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer are reunited – sort of – in an ad for Uber Eats where she doesn’t remember him.
- The Budweiser Clydesdale horses are back.
- Tom Brady gets blacklisted in an ad for BetMGM.
- Country star Jelly Roll “discovers” he has face tattoos.
- What if Oreo was there for history’s biggest events?
- Neil Diamond isn’t singing “Sweet Caroline,” but he is singing “I Am … I said” in an advertisement for Volkswagen of America.
- Willie Nelson steals a lighter from Snoop Dogg in an ad for BIC EZ Reach.
- And Arnold Schwarzenegger is a State Farm bully. Is there another Arnold?
