The Cheez-It Citrus Bowl won’t have one of its primary attractions, unfortunately.

University of Tennessee quarterback Joe Milton has decided to forego playing in the bowl game and instead prepare for the NFL Draft, according to a report by ESPN’s Chris Low (Tennessee QB Joe Milton III to skip Citrus Bowl for NFL draft).

That’ll mean Nico Iamaleava will likely get the start for the Volunteers (8-4) in the bowl game against Iowa (10-3) in the bowl game.

Milton finished up this season having thrown for 2,813 yards, 20 touchdowns and five interceptions.

According to Low’s story, Iamaleava, from Long Beach, Calif., was ranked as the No. 4 pocket passer in the nation by ESPN and has been on campus about a year. He’s 6-foot-6 and 2-6 pounds.

He has played briefly in four games this year, having thrown for 163 yards, a touchdown and no interceptions.
