Just in time for Halloween, it looks like the Cleveland Browns are going to get a trick, and not a treat.

Word around the National Football League Wednesday is that the Seattle Seahawks are expected to sign edge rusher Frank Clark, bringing him back to the Pacific Northwest, where he began his career as a second-round draft pick in 2015.

Clark, 30, was released from his contract with the Denver Broncos on Oct. 14. Clark only had two games as a Bronco, making two tackles.

Seattle (4-2) might need a little help. Linebacker Uchenna Nwosu is gone for the year with a pectoral (chest) injury.

Clark had 35 sacks as a Seahawk – 58 1/2 total – in a little more than three seasons, and once placed the franchise tag n him. Seattle traded Clark to Kansas City in spring, 2019, to get something in return: he was a free agent in that upcoming season.

Clark stood out with the Chiefs, a big reason they won Super Bowl LIV. Last year, he had five sacks in the 15 games he played.
