Dallas linebacker Micah Parsons let his feelings be known on his podcast Monday that even though he likes San Francisco tight end George Kittle, he didn’t like a T-shirt Kittle wore that was anti-Cowboys.

San Francisco defeated Dallas, 42-10, on NBC’s “Sunday Night Football,” a game that many thought would be close. It wasn’t.

“I just feel like he’s making it way more personal than it had to be,” Parsons said, on “The Edge with Micah Parsons” podcast. “Kittle’s my guy, but I’m going to say this: Laugh now, cry later.

“We got something for that, just trust. If we see them again, just trust. … You gonna make it personal? We can make it personal.”

On Tuesday, 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel sort of answered Parsons. And it wasn’t what Parsons wanted to hear.

Samuel was on an interview with the “Up & Adams” podcast on FanDuel, when Parsons’ comments came up. Samuel didn’t ignore them.

“I don’t think [the Cowboys] want to see us again,” Samuel said. “It might be a little bit worse. … “It was already personal before the game started, and now — 42-10 — I don’t think you want to see us again. It might be a little bit worse. I don’t know what we’re ‘trusting.’ He’s talking about ‘we trust,’ you know, ‘laugh now, cry later.’ I mean, I don’t think y’all wanna see us again.”

Kittle had a large role in the game, catching three of Brock Purdy’s four touchdown passes (fullback Kyle Juszczyk caught the other) and the Cowboys had several turnovers in the win, which kept the 49ers undefeated. It was the 49ers’ largest margin of victory ever over Dallas, and the two have been going at it for decades, with many classic battles dating back to the early 1980s, and especially in the ‘90s, with Dallas’s Triplets (Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith and Michael Irvin) facing off against the 49ers’ Steve Young, Jerry Rice, and Deion Sanders – before Sanders left in free agency to actually join the Cowboys for a Super Bowl win.

Kittle had a shirt under his uniform that said “F— Dallas,” and flashed the shirt afterward.

Samuel admitted in the interview that the history of the rivalry had the 49ers more hyped than they would normally be for a game. “We look at every game the same, but this game was a little different [because of] the history,” Samuel said. “But we can’t get too hyped or let our emotions get the best of us before the game.”

The 49ers have ended Dallas’s season the last two postseasons. It remains to be seen, of course, if we’ll get a playoff rematch.

But here’s betting money it’ll be WAAAAAAAY more “hyped” than this regular season game, if we do.
