Are you a betting man (or woman)?

If so, grab what you got and get to the window. Might wanna put it all on KC, baby.

That’s what the oddsmakers say, anyway.

A story on ESPN.com on Thursday, just hours ahead of the NFL’s season opener with the Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Detroit Lions, lists those Chiefs as the odds-on favorite to win this year’s Super Bowl (that would be 58, or LVIII) in the Las Vegas area at Allegiant Stadium.

The story, which you can find here (Chiefs are Super Bowl betting favorites; Patrick Mahomes MVP front-runner – ESPN), also names Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes as the favorite for the NFL’s most valuable player award.

And in other news, the sky is blue, and grass is green.

At any rate, the Super Bowl odds for the Chiefs are 6-1. You can read their article to find out where your favorite team is.
